Campsite with heated swimming pool in the mountains

Do you know a better thing then starting or finishing your day with a dive in a heated swimming pool or relaxing in one of the deck chairs on the edge of the swimming pool whilst admiring the surrounding summits?
Open from June 1st until September 1st.
Next to the swimming pool is located a heated paddling pool for toddlers. 
Open from July 1st until August 31st.

Campsite activities

Two trampolines, among which a small one for little children, where they can copy the older children, from half May until half September.
In front of the bar’s terrace is located a playground with a roundabout, slide and swing. The campsite also possesses a petanque court, table tennis and table football.
Summer activities with Biathlon, Big wooden games, Scavenger hunts,  Handicraft and artistic activities… from July 12th until August 24th.

  • Les jardins de Chamechaude (Bio & Local vegetables produceur): Discover and buy Stéphanie’s fresh products during a short walk near St Hugues, every Tuesday (4.30 p.m.-7 p.m.) and Saturday (9 a.m.-12 p.m.)
  • Le charmant Sôm : Beautiful Chartreuse summit, accessible by car (perfect for youngsters and their grand-parents), with its bar-restaurant and its famous « tarte aux myrtilles » (blueberry pie)…
  • « L’art et la manière »: for all your presents: small souvenir-shop with local handcrafted gifts in St Pierre.
  • Le Musée d’art sacré contemporain : the church of St Hugues has been transformated by a local painter, named Arcabas. You can finish your day in la Ferme de Brévardière, where you can degustate local dishes.
  • Jardin de plantes médicinales : Once a week during summer, Mélanie will share her knowledge regarding plants and flowers. Her gardens are accessible by foot, since the campsite.
  • Sentier des petits ponts : The kids favorite walk ! Follow the blue fishes and discover the beautiful and savage banks of the Guiers Mort river (2 hours return trip).
  • Granges de Joigny : Discover the giant ammonite and take your time to picnic in the flowery meadows. Family walk, in the surroundings of the Granier mountain. Accessible for all-terrain buggies…
  • Belvédère des Sangles : A magnificent view on the monastery and the canyons of the Guiers Mort river. Accessible for buggies !
  • The La Bastille cableway : Hop on on one of the eggs which cross the Isère river and bring you to the mountain, for a beautiful view on Grenoble and the Vercors and Belledonne mountains. Your kids will adore « l’accro-bastille »; The Bastille via ferrata is rather difficult but offers an original view on the city. Return trip possible by cableway, but it’s more fun to go downhill by foot and discover the musée Dauphinois, cross the Isere by the St Laurent bridge and visit the old town center.
  • Circuit rando-croquis : if you wish to go back home with some nice drawings, take a walk at the Montbel castle ruins. The poetic atmosphere will inspire you….
  • Giant’s kettles and trout fishing : A small walkingpath offers you beautiful views on the waterfalls and giant’s kettles of the Cozon river and brings you from St Pierre d’Entremont to « Pont du Lac » where you can relax, or try to catch some trouts. Don’t hesitate to taste the home made pies !
  • St André lake: A charming haven in the heart of the Savoy vineyards, at the foot of the Mont Granier cliff. Take the opportunity to explore the cellars of Apremont and the winegrower’s museum.
  • The Plantimay farm : Cheese farm where one make goat and cow cheese. (visits possible on monday, wednesday, friday from 5 till 6.30 pm. In St Joseph de Rivière)
  • Rivièr’Alp (Recreation park in Les Echelles) : The water (25°C) of this swimming pool is filtered by plants. Discover the hydromachines along the walking path to the Guiers Vif river !
  • “Oréade” Balnéo-Spa : Massages, nordic baths with a view on the mountains and a restaurant with healthy food.
